Before Your Visit
Make sure your pet’s vaccines are current and send records through the app or by email. At check-in, take a moment to discuss your pup’s desired look with the groomer and mention any skin sensitivities or allergies.
At Check in
Talk with your groomer about your pet’s grooming needs and any special care requests. Ask questions to keep your pet comfortable. Add spa upgrades for a little extra pampering!
Picking Up Your Pet

What vaccinations does my pet need to stay with Tail Town
Please have your veterinarian email or fax current vaccine records, or bring proof of vaccination when you arrive.
Age Requirements:
Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and must have received Rabies, at least 2 rounds of DAPP, and Bordetella.
Required Vaccinations (must be administered by a veterinarian):
Dogs: Rabies, DAPP, Bordetella
Cats: Rabies, FVRCP
At this time, the canine influenza vaccine is not required. However, we recommend speaking with your veterinarian to determine if it’s right for your dog based on their lifestyle.
How do I make a Reservation
You can either make a reservation online or by calling our Frot Desk at 505-891-4100. We will ask you specific questions regarding your pet in order to set up a profile and create a reservation. Tail Town does not require a temperament test or interview prior to grooming.
Can I bring my own dog food?
To keep your pet on their regular diet, we recommend bringing their own food, pre-bagged by serving for each day. This helps avoid upset stomachs and keeps mealtime consistent. If needed, we offer Hill's Science Diet as our premium house food for $5 per day, per pet. Refrigeration is available upon request.
